It's that time of year where we should take time and remember all the things we are grateful.

There has been one common thread that I have been thinking about - how many and how fast decisions are made.

I just want to say congrats and thank you to all the groups I was involved with this past winter.

In some previous posts of mine, and on episodes of Volta (one of the podcast's I have done), I have talked about changing course when needed

Long time no see! A lot has been going on both positive and negative, and I took some time to process that information.

This is the time to reflect and give thanks for the year that was.

Don't forget that summer is also when you have the most time to make an investment in your playing and fundamentals.

So this is really part 2 of the last post, which was about reflecting on your growth. Today we are putting that reflection into planning.

As one school year ends let's take a second during this busy time to reflect on the good things that have happened.

Today's tip is to double check your electronics. It is super easy to get wrapped up in what the students are doing...

If you are like me, you definitely plan to bring a backpack with you to shows. I don't always carry mine, but I always have it...

The other thing I think of when I hear/say "The Road Here," is the 10 year challenge I keep seeing all over my social media.

Now, it is my goal to teach the skill as fast as possible and then throw as many variations of the skill at the students as possible.

To sum up the list, it is to live a happy, health, successful life. What are you goals/plans for 2022?
